Peggy's Cove
With a tiny population of just 46, Peggy’s Cove is perhaps Nova Scotia’s most famous seaside village. It is renowned for its iconic red-and-white lighthouse, which stands proudly against the rugged Atlantic coastline, offering one of the province’s most photographed views. The village itself is surrounded by dramatic granite rock formations, quaint fishing cottages, and scenic walking paths that capture the charm of traditional coastal life.
Visitors can also enjoy a well-known local restaurant and gift shop, where fresh seafood and artisanal goods are available. Most tours to Peggy’s Cove take about four hours, with roughly two hours spent exploring the village, giving travelers enough time to walk along the shoreline, take photos, browse the shops, and soak in the serene atmosphere.
